Talk on Multilingualism at the European Parliament

Prof. Adriana Hanulíková recently gave a talk at the European Parliament in Luxembourg City entitled “Multilingualism from a cognitive perspective.” Her presentation addressed how multilingualism influences cognitive abilities and how a second language can affect the processing of a first language, and whether decision-making differs when using a foreign language compared to one’s mother tongue.

The talk was organised by the European Parliament’s Translation Service in collaboration with the EU Hub of Excellence for Multilingualism and provided a valuable opportunity for professional exchange.
